Additional Processing

Cryogenic Processing –

Deep freeze process that removes localized stress, alters and stabilizes molecular structure providing increased wear and fracture resistance.

Shot Peen –

Action that converts tensile stress (bad stress) into compressive stress (good stress) providing a higher load capacity.

Thermal Stabilization –

Heat treat draw to reduce stress providing a higher resistance to surface fractures.  

Surface Enhancement –

High energy, extremely uniform finishing process that microscopically blends peaks and valleys of surface finishes reducing surface friction.

Face Plating –

Eliminates the need to worry about missed shifts by removing the stock synchronizers and opening up the engagement window for faster, higher rpm shifting and makes the engagement components substantially more durable increasing longevity with virtually no chance of popping out of gear.  Service is available for select transmission types.
