Terms and Conditions Transmissions

TRANSMISSIONS

All units are delivered dry.  Ensure proper fluid circulation prior to operation.  Check your owner’s manual for your transmission fluid specifics.  Certain carbon fiber synchro liners have been known to glaze causing premature failure when full synthetic fluid is used.  Lashbrook BUILT is not responsible for vehicle compatibility.  Lashbrook does not manufacture the parts or install the transmission and is not responsible for the results of installation and operation of the vehicle following delivery. 

LEAD-TIMES

Currently running about 1-2 weeks for standard builds and rebuilds and about 3-6 weeks for cryogen processing.  Face Plating determined at time of order. All times are variable, please contact us for more information. 

CONTINUED SUPPORT

Whether you drive it daily or need it track ready, your Lashbrook BUILT Transmission receives a reduced labor rate (unit must not be tampered with or modified in any way), regardless of vehicle ownership, on all future maintenance and repairs. 

POWER RATINGS

I do not have power ratings listed with any of my transmissions as they will hold up to different amounts of power depending on how they are used (daily, weekend warrior, drag, drift, autocross, etc.), the torque you are making, the power adder used, and if your race kicks off from a dig or a roll.  Call us to custom built your trans today.

CARRY OUT ONLY

We are a carry out only shop…we do not do installs or removals.  We will work with your mechanic of choice or we work with a network of reputable performance shops in multiple states.  Look for a new page coming soon where we will feature some of these shops and the work they do.  Contact us today for a referral.

SALES

Lashbrook BUILT reserves the right to refuse service to anyone for any reason at anytime.  All sales of Lashbrook BUILT transmissions are final.  All deposits are non-refundable.  Contact us for more information.  

WARRANTY

“I am an honest man who stands behind my workmanship.  I do NOT manufacture the gears or install the transmission and I do NOT stand behind your ability to drive.  If you have a problem…call me.  I am a specialty builder & do not build junk.  I put my name on every unit that leaves my shop.”

Lashbrook BUILT Performance Manual Transmission expressly assumes no liability in the use of any product. In the isolated event you should encounter a problem with your transmission, please contact us – before attempting to repair or remove the transmission – we will work with you to ensure there is a reason to do so. Any internal tampering or alteration done by anyone other than Lyle Lashbrook will VOID the warranty (excluding regular maintenance i.e., fluid change). 

The following items are NOT covered:

•           Normal wear and tear.

•           Damage resulting from an accident or collision.

•           Removal/Replacement Labor costs.

•           Electronics

•           Return Shipping Costs.

•           Any fees incurred by a failure (Tow truck, storage fees, lodging, etc.)

•           Loss or injury from the use of the product

•           Damage to any related components.

•           Unauthorized repairs or modifications.

•           Vehicle incompatibility.

•           Damage due to any misuse or abuse.

•           Product failure due to improper installation, maintenance, or improper fluid and/or fluid levels.

All future maintenance and repairs for your Lashbrook BUILT Transmission receive a reduced labor rate (unit must not be tampered with or modified in any way), regardless of vehicle ownership.  Lashbrook BUILT Performance Manual Transmissions reserves the right the change the terms and conditions of their warranty at any time.  It is recommended you keep a copy of your invoice.
